A walk in the park.

Hello all.

From time to time, I find myself grabbing my camera and just taking random shots from within my home. Here I was trying out my newly acquired Canon 24-105mm F/4L lens.

There are a couple of cranes near my place.
They are probably for the construction of the medical centre.

The miniaturisation feature of the 650D is a cool effect to use.

Yesterday, I decided to go for a walk outside and take a few pictures. There were a lot of people in the city due to the open days at Uni SA and Adelaide Uni. I managed to find my way to the botanical gardens.

I feel she was meant to be holding a spear or sword.

Painting in the middle of a garden?

To be honest, I'm not really a fan of doing flower photography.
Unless it is done with a macro lens...

After I took this shot, I turned to my left and saw a trail of people sleeping
which I did not see before! Impressive ninja skills...

Leaving the botanical gardens.
On my way home, I switched to my X100 because I feel that the Canon setup I have is not very discrete for street shooting. I gotta say, it is still pretty amazing to use. The images still bring me more joy than my Canon setup. Maybe I have gotten used to the Fujifilm look.

I blended in well with the people on open day.

Late-Night Baking

Today I decided to try and bake some banana bread. The recipe I used is here.

I didn't take any pictures of the mixing process because I like to use my hands to mix things and that would not be good for my cameras. And it looks icky. I found that the mixture was very sticky and gooey compared to normal bread making.

Here are the results.

Images taken with Fujifilm Finepix X100.
I didn't have a skewer to see if the bread was cooked inside.
So I used a sick of pasta.

Finally ready to come out.

Letting it cool in the pan.

Slicing that bread

It was yummy! ^^
