Singapore Flyer

After dinner, we took a taxi to the Singapore Flyer.

It was an interesting ride. The driver told us about many things like government, the economy, etc. It was thoroughly entertaining and very insightful.

He said Singaporeans can't afford to get sick so they often pass away. Hospitals are supposedly too expensive to get sick at. Marathon runners sometimes get heart attacks because they haven't been diagnosed with condition that puts their lives in danger, no matter how fit they are.

He also said the Singapore Flyer wouldn't be closed too long as accountants would pull out their calculators and see how much they are losing.

We enjoyed talking to him so much, my brother tipped him an an extra half of his fare.

The weather fortunately cleared up and  the Singapore Flyer was moving.
